I hope your leg returns to normal. I had arthroscopic knee surgery in February. I still have partial numbness in my lower leg and the vmo muscle disappeared. Has not affected mobility, but the nerve damage and missing muscle makes me second guess choosing surgery.

Reminds me of when mom broke her ankle while stacking wood many years ago. It was a Sunday morning so im sleeping in not having to work. She was way in back stacking splits and her foot wedged between pallet slats and she fell over. She freed herself and crawled across the long back yard to the house. I was awakened by her yelling "Brad, come help me, i think i broke my leg" Im very mind full of pallet gaps when stacking. Sticks in my memory.
    Heal up soon my friend!

Sorry to hear that I can definitely relate to the numbness.

I'm going to join the go around not over club in regards to piles of wood. Good thing you were there.

Man that sounds really terrible. So glad you were able to get help. Imagine you left your phone charging or didn't have signal. It could have been much worse. Glad you are ok.

Just crazy to me. I'm in Canada and hoping to get to mid-November before any snow hits the ground.

Usually spring and fall. Spring from snow melt, spring rains and also from frost coming out of ground. Fall sometimes can be a huge challenge for getting crops out. Sugar beets is almost always a muddy mess then there are years when just getting tractors and combines into fields. I've seen many years when farmers had to wait until the ground froze solid enough so they could combine. Now many have tracks for tractors and combines which helps a lot.

One more reason to not use pallets!

Love the mountains. Don't get out there much. Wish I was closer.
