Chris F and Pricey106 sort of spurred me on a bit this morning. I was going to take tiller off tractor so why not move the totes first? Moved 3 of them plus did some covering on some wood stacks.
The tiller provides a counterweight? Nice to be able to easily move that amount of wood, all at once. How many more will you move?
Yes, a counter weight. I only have 4. One is loaded with oak from 2 years ago. White oak so that will wait another year. One is filled with junk wood for firepit so that waits for the next gtg. So only 2 by the house. I probably won't burn from those until January or February when the snow is so I don't want to move wood from the barn.
I wish my wood move in was that easy....lol. I can't complain too much though, I have it pretty easy.

Before During After The end exposed to the weather is all bark-side wood It's a mix of mostly red maple, with sone ash, elm, and apple. The date is when it was CSS'd. I might be pushing the seasoning time. I'll find out. I didn't want to bother with a MM. The wood is from - My next score? Hopefully! I'll leave it uncovered on sunny days to chase away any edge dampness. That's a west facing exposure
With my yard cart/wagon, it took 5 loads for that 1/3 cord. A little stiff and sore, but in a good way.
I sometimes use a Garden Way Cart and that's about the same. But most times I'll use the tractor because I don't have to do all the bending that way and it saves my back. But I'll still use the cart sometimes just for more of a workout.
You guys are killing me Dennis & Mike. I've got about 2 cord to put in one shed and then another 4 to stack in the other one. Good news is it's all dry & ready, bad news is it's mostly big Red Oak & Beech splits. Bit hefty after you get through with a cord or so.
