16 years ago was Katrina and now hurricane Ida is going to hit the LA coast possibly as a cat 5 hurricane with winds over 150mph which is stronger than predicted. Just curious if any members will be directly impacted? If so, stay safe fellow hoarders.

My cousin lives just north of NOLa. Talked to him this morning and they've evacuated to MS.

We’ve got some Alabamians here at FHC... and a couple from Louisiana.

I have friends in Baton Rouge and they were getting antsy yesterday morning. They may have changed their minds about staying now that it appears they may get the center of it.

Do they have family or friends there? Were they able to get a room? I texted some friends in Kiln, on the north end of the Stennis Intl airport on Texas Flat rd , and they were doing OK, a little flooding, not much rain and a little wind.

They're going to be out of power for little while. These towers are massive and at least 8 of these feeder lines are on the ground or in the water. Screenshot_20210830-092454_Maps.jpg Screenshot_20210830-092507_Maps.jpg

Driving back from Charlotte today on 85 I saw a steady flow of Asplundh bucket trucks headed South.

I think some of our local EMC guys are going to LA. My nephew is stationed at Barksdale AFB. He should be ok.

NE Ohio is just out of range of the storm, we are only getting clouds at the moment. Is the Philly area supposed to get hit? I have a brother across the river in Moorestown,NJ.

We are just a bit north of Atlantic City, NJ, and it looks like we won't get any today. Staying off to the north and west.
