I have a cases for a couple of them so they ride either....typically they ride in the cab on the backseat though. No reason to let them get beat around riding.

When i had a truck .. They either went i to the cab with a rag underneath.... Or in my DeeZee toolbox. I agree... No sense in listening to my saw bounce around the back of the bed :(. Now i have my Suv with rubber molded mat in the back. Everything stays where its suppose to.. Out of the weather. I even get a little buzz from gas fumes on my way to go cut :)

Mine ride in the bed except if we have to go in a store then they get locked in the cab or someone stays in the truck with them.

    That's an attractive lineup!

May I ask why there are no chains on them?

My saws ride in a wooden tray in my van or suburban or in a wood lined aluminum tool box on a trailer. Takes less space that individual cases while helping to protect the saws.

Gunk makes some stuff called Engine Brite SHINE. I spray it on the clutch side of the case, the front of the case and on th inside of the clutch cover and starter cover. It has been doing a very good job of keeping the chainsaw goo from sticking to the saw and by doing so not only makes clean up easier but seems to keep the saws cooler while in operation.

I suspect your 1050 is no count and should find its way here...

I'm all for taking care of your, dare I say 'investment,' but that has got to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever read on this forum. No, any chainsaw forum (if not the internet).

    It's a saw... Not a 401k

started out many moons ago with a little 14" 34 cc green saw but bigger is better so that has morphed to a range of 50-121 cc's over 8 units. An undeniable CAD problem. Now If I could figure how to edit the equip.list ...

Go up to your Username in the upper right and click on it. In that drop down box, there will be "Signature" Click that and edit as you wish, then save.

If you have trouble PM me and I will help.

Sometimes I wonder what I missed out on by starting with an 044. Maybe I should pick up one of those little greenish things.

Dont do it. The will vibrate your hands off! I did this winter cause i thought I was missing out too. Paid $20 for a good shape one. After a few things I was into it about $40. Was glad to kick it down the road for $60 a month or so ago.
