Thanks to all for the sympathy and well wishes. Today was tough, especially at the two times I was usually with her. I would spend at least an hour with her in the morning before she had breakfast, and then after dinner was lounge time on the couch. I have set a target of trying to cry one less time each day from here forward. Might take a week or two until that number hits zero. The pain is so worth the great times spent with her though. God bless her. Sharing one more pic here that is now my avatar. She was stunning..this was taken at what is surely her favorite place; Maine. Best traveling dog ever and loved to hear "go for a ride to Maine?"

 

I had a beagle named Kimber. Possibly the saddest day of my life when her accident happened.
