    Day three of the current heat wave, and muggy.

    Hospital day today. Ahead of a Dr appointment next week, I need to go for blood work and an xray. That'll be first thing this morning. Then this afternoon, I'll take dad for an xray and MRI.

    Good morning everyone! Had a good day with my grandson yesterday, only enough tomatoes for a small batch of sauce, but we picked some nice chiles. They are mildly hot. I roast them to get the skin off, then dice the flesh and add a little vinegar, and store in the fridge. They add a little zip to anything! IMG_20210826_2131.jpg

    Had a good time yesterday. After the phone company got our new line (fiber optic) hooked up along with new modem and all I headed to hospital to see and old friend who has been in there since April. Got great news too when I was told she is scheduled to go home in 2 weeks! It has been a long grind and happy to see it finally is better.

    After leaving the hospital I headed over to see Redneck and shoot the breeze with him. But it was getting late so was not there too long. Still it was great seeing him again. He has been awfully busy this summer so we haven't spent much time together.

    Good morning! It's still hot. We had a brief shower this morning. Rinse and repeat this scenario until Monday. Might get a little splitting done tonight (hydraulic only!). I prepped everything yesterday. Just need to fuel the splitter.

    Had a really good storm come through yesterday. Was really coming down and whipping the trees around really good. When Chaz went to pick up dinner, there were 4 or 5 trees down.

    Morning All. Exhausted after yesterday. Got our walk in this morning before the rain is supposed to hit. Got grocery shopping and chores to do. May even sit and watch the Blue Jays game today. Got lots to do today.

    Going through our family birthdays and we have three birthdays and an anniversary today. With our extended families growing in all directions, the celebrations add up.

    We had a great day yesterday. WeldrDave and Chrissy drove up to Beach Haven, NJ for a visit while we are there on vacation. Nothing better than to spend time with a fellow FHCer.
    We got rid of some beer, wine and a couple pizza's. No wood was harmed yesterday during the visit:rofl: :lol::thumbs:

    Spent Thursday cleaning out and moving furniture at our church. We are reorganizing the children's classrooms and the Pastor's office. Still have lots to do.
