    I noticed the rounds you have, the pith is way off center. Limb wood or a tree that is leaning will do that. It can be tough to split, still good wood.

    Quite a few were veneer quality. Tried to sell to a mill, but insurance, blah, blah, blah...wanted a logger to haul them. Wasn't worth the hassle. I didn't need the lumber, so made some good firewood.

    It’s very popular for trim because it’s so clear. Very few imperfections and it paints without showing any grain.
