So I step outside this morning and hear the wonderful sound of a chainsaw. Of course I investigate, expecting to see a tree service chipping up all the good wood. Upon investigation I find the neighbor with a friend and his Earthquake chain saw cutting down a pretty big pine tree. They already had a really bad wedge in it and were struggling to to make the back cut. I stop and ask if they want help, no they say, I said really, no big deal. I run home and grab my new 261 and 461. When I get back they have the tree down safe so I just got to limb and buck it for them. I got it cut up in less than an hour as the other guy was struggling with the Earthquake saw. Good time and got to help a neighbor! He’s got one more to drop, he said not today though.

Some folks can’t understand the joy of just being able to run a saw.

Nice to lend a helping hand. I hate to see "average cutters" struggle to fell trees/cut wood etc.
Tell us the truth Dakota Hoarder, you just wanted to show off your new 261, Huh? :saw:
Cant blame you as i wouldve done the same!
I had an earthquake girlfriend once. She was a 9...on the richter scale!

Agreed, watching “average cutters” is a “crap show” and I did want to use and show off my new 261. As far as an earthquake girl friend I’ve never been there… well actually in college there was that one time but you know? We won’t talk about that!

brenndatomu! If I could spell the sound I make at my 5 year old when she says something she shouldn't...I would surely be typing that to you right now!! We all know that throat/mouth sound... dangnabbit I don't even know how to try to type it....

Anyway, don't bring that topic up!! You know who is liable to start throwing out his saved favorite pics!
