    High temp was only 68 today. That's nuts for late July.

    Took a 12 mile canoe trip today. Water was perfect...a little cool but better than cooking out there.

    Came home and put up 12 gallons of green beans.

    Finally sat down and trying to figure how I'm going to drag my azz out of bed, pack up, and go camping tomorrow.

    60's here today too. Dark and cloudy. Unusually wet summer here. And don't laugh like I do to you about wind (lol), it's been running almost 50% humidity all summer, we are NOT used to that. Not that we've needed it most days but the portable swamp cooler does not work at that humidity.

    (Luke, this is your cue to smarty pants me back :) )

    50% humidity is not humidity. We are rarely below 80 all summer.

    Too cute not to share. Kiddo is great at loading/unloading the clothes washer and dryer. Thurs she wanted to "run" it. Step stool-soap-buttons :yes: She did her special load for clothes for her visit with Grandma, AND dried then, AND folded & packed them. I am super proud, WOW!!!
    I went to do a load of laundry tonight :rofl: :lol:, there are new lights on the dashboard, one looks like a mute button and the other is a tshirt with + sign. I don't know how to turn them off :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    I learned on and used for most my life a top load that filled to the top with agitator with fins. Maybe she can tell me how to turn off those weird settings when she comes home?

    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    The inside of my house is rarely under 60% during summer. Even with the mini-split being on dehumidify, it is usually between 60 and 68%. I could get it drier, but I'd have to live with the temp being in the 60's and I would freeze :emb:. I've seen as high as 78% within the last seek or so (the mini-split being off at the time). That being said, right now the house is at 58%, so relatively dry.

    I'm guessing the mute button is to turn off the "done" music. Is that tshirt sign on the washer or drier? If it is the drier, I'm guessing it is showing that it is on regular sensor with "more dry" option.

    Wow. And it's the tshirt + is on the washer. Reminds me of the joke of the wife calling her husband saying a light on her dash shows a person on the toilet
    [IMG]

    No luck, I downloaded the user manual, it shows the top tshirt+ for washing, but not the one in red. I'll unplug for a bit and see what happens.

    A 20 pound weight off the seat might bring it down into the range it is useable. When I put the blade on my lawn tractor for snow, I put on 55 lbs of weights from the garage. It helps a ton.

    Good idea, and if it's underneath her & she sits higher up maybe she wont have to lean forward as much.

    Got a little mowing and brush clearing done down by the big Birch tree. Still a ways to go. Want a clear, driveable lane at least so far up the driveway, would make handling the boat trailer easier. Thinking the tree will be going bye bye too. Maybe plant an evergreen back further where it won't be so in the way. Eventually I'd like to get rid of all my deciduous trees in favor of evergreens. In the main forested area, nature is helping that case. Lots of baby evergreens sprouting up.
