    I took daughter-in-law for ride on golf cart. Went in back and on sand on our place then took her across road where we cut at the GTG then followed trail all the way through woods and past the cabin, back on our place then home. I could hardly believe the skeeters. Then I sold a freezer and fellow came for it last evening and the skeeters were terrible at the house then too. They had not been bad by the house after the county fogged last week but now we'll have to wait for the next fogging; probably next week.

    Yes it’s been cold down here and very wet lately. I can’t remember it being this wet for so long since I was a teenager!

    One of my Himalayan cats got out unseen while someone was coming or going. My son's Husky got hold of it and mauled it. The cat seemed to be recovering but last night it passed away. Little thing will be missed. Very affectionate. The Husky goes after anything that comes into the yard. Otherwise is a sweet dog. I don't blame the dog. Just a shame we didn't see the cat escape.

    CL started charging for ads for cars, street legal motorcycles, and some other items. Apparently employment ads get a few too. Now about everything else has no charge.

    Our storm last night didn't really affect us too much, although we had a tornado watch/ warning at like 2am. We were to have up to 80 mph winds, but I don't think we got anywhere near that. Power stayed on, only lost a small Norway maple branch, but I moved plants and patio furniture out of harms way before bed last night. The neighbor lost most of the live part of his Norway maple that was already on very rough shape. It landed on my yard. It might end up as firewood for me, what good wood is left on it.

    We were hoping for a good rain. We didn't get it. Maybe a tenth of an inch of rain, when we were to get 1-2 inches of rain.
