Picking up my grandson in a little while. It's raining a little bit, so maybe not a pool day, but we'll split some wood.
I'm waiting to hear back about going up to Maine next week, hope I get to go!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SUNDAY. We have to check out this morning, spend some more time wth the grands on a boat trip, then we will head home later this evening.
We are on the 5th floor at the hotel. One of several container ships we saw, taller than the trees. Probably has some of our clay products on it.

Molly, Rain shouldn't stop pool time. We used to swim in the rain all the time as a kid. Was just watching and learning with Brandon.

Yours are really early compared to us. The season won't start until the fall rains start in September.

 

I dehydrated some one year. I used them in soups afterward. They were quite meaty tasting in the soups.

 

Afternoon All. Family showed up from their kayak trip. Mostly good weather for them with one day of real rain. They stayed the night after taking advantage of all the hot water we have. Left this morning to go home and unpack and clean up the kayaks.

Sprinkles this morning but the sun is out and it is getting warm (Almost 70 F!!!) I think Tuesday we are in for a nice stretch of weather. campinspecter has laundry out on the line so I hope it dries.

Morning. RaceTrac was closed for the 3rd out of the last 4 days. I sent corporate a nasty email letting them know I now have 10 open tickets with them with no resolution. Also let them know I will get Fox13 News Tampa involved next time. Ok….I’ll get off my soapbox now. Hope everyone has a great day. I’ll go have some lake therapy.

Hot and humid return for a few days. AC gets turned on again, later today. It's been nice to leave the windows open for a few days

I'll be running a few errands, then deal with some things around the house.

Good Morning everyone! Washed up on the shores of Monday. We had a busy day yesterday, picked tomatoes,
split some wood,
firewoodhoarder on TikTok
and fooled around a lot.
No trip to Maine for me this week, unfortunately. The people I would visit are going through some family drama. I may get an invite later in the summer. I would have liked to have gone, but as it is, I'm a little relieved.
We are in for a couple of hot days.
Today I need to make tomato sauce!

Goos morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Made it back home from the vacation weekend about 9:00 last night. Tired but had a good time. I'm off the next 3 days, so it will be some hot work for us. We have a big yard to cut this morning, the one we normally just trim the ditches on. My friend is having issues with his blood platelets again, can't get out and work in the yars now......
Then we have a hickory and 2 oaks to clean up and more wood to split/deliver...got to pack that water cooler.
