Sorry you two...... I guess you could say I was just horsing around!!! Maybe it's time to hit the hay!
Weather is real nice this morning and was not bad yesterday because the dewpoint went back down into the 50's with temp in mid 80's.
Made a quick run to the scrap yard this AM to get rid of the old cast iron bathtub and sink and some copper wire. I was expecting to get maybe $15 for the cast iron and $10 for the copper. Ended up getting $45 for the tub and $37 for the wire. Last year I hauled exact same tub and sink along with a bunch of galvanized pipe and and extra 100lbs of cast drain pipe and got $20 or $25. If you have some scrap laying around now is the time to get rid of it.
I am so out of shape it is pitiful. That is a small pile of brush I have to move. It is 80*, humid, and partly cloudy skies. Did get one small load moved with several breathing breaks. Then my back started complaining because I am doing "work" so now relaxing waiting for pain pill to kick in. This is going to be slow going for me. Ughhh
Chazsbetterhalf The comic strip, Beetle Bailey had it right this past weekend. Work for 5 minutes and take a 30 minute break. Rinse and repeat Slow and steady with lots of breaks gets the job done. Don't overdo.
I have all the time in the world. I'll continue to pick at it. Hopefully by this weekend it will be done then we can have a bonfire.
For the last we we have had red tail hawk screeching away. Managed to get a couple shots. This was almost directly over head and just over tree tops.
The stimulus ck we got was the same as everyone else who got it for income under $150 thousand. Maine is giving up to $2000 in rebates. I got the $1000. I worked with Maine and the mini split company to make sure I got the unit that qualified unit. The company submitted the paper work. All I had to do is sign when the company did the install. Pay them and wait for the rebate ck. It was the right move for us. We have really enjoyed the mini split for both heat and cooling and esp. for the economy.
