Started splitting

    This isn’t the best wood but will go in the shed next Summer
    Had some trouble with the splitter, but cleaned the carburetor and it seems to be running okay.

    First time ive seen someone sitting while splitting horizontal. Makes quick work of it. Wonder if Backwoods Savage would approve??? :whistle:

    I’m 6’4” with a bad back. I used to split everything with an axe or a maul. After watching a few folks use a powered splitter I never thought it would work for me.
    With this cheap model I was very happy to find the height and controls work well for me from a sitting position.

    Certainly makes the process easier for me.

    Now you just need to find a swivel seat. Work smarter not harder (something I should try harder to do).

    Ive recently gone to hydro myself and it does ease the back. Although i did enjoy the little hand splitting i did this morning. 4-5 big wheelbarrows worth.
