    Could be a Plum. Bark is reminiscent of a plum tree I once cut down. My reminiscents arent all that accurate but it could be a Plum :)

    I just split some apple and after seeing that split Im about 98% sure thats what it is or crab apple.

    More of the same.
    A friend of mine of is an Agriculture guru for a local university says it is, "definitely something in the Prunus genus, which includes cherry, plum, and other fruits and ornamental trees. But I can't give you a specific species". Probably cherry... :hair:

    These pics further confirm to me it's not apple. When I get home I'll share some pics. I've processed mega-tons of apple and it just isn't looking familiar.
