We are also loving our new mini split. Three months running with lower electic bill than in the past three years. The air in here is much better. Less problem with my COPD

Been running mine a couple of times a day on dry mode to get the humidity inside down to 60%. Yesterday it was at 77% humidity when I got up . This morning it is at 68%.

Curious to get my electric bill for this month to see how it compares to last year.

Indeed very hard to deal with. My vet thinks my Molly has bone CA. Not sure. Very hard to deal with. I would like you to consider getting another fur pet. They need good homes and give so much joy to us. I am older, but I won't hesitate to get another fur friend when the time comes.

We will look into another rescue to come join us. Once we get settled in the new house.

    Sending prayers for Molly!

That is good. I know you will give your fur friend a good home. In return, you will get a lot of love, (and no sass!)

That is NH, we had a couple of days of record high highs, and now we are competing for record low highs for yesterday and today (I don't think one was made yesterday, but not for lack of trying). Last night I unplugged the exhaust to the p43 in case I need heat this morning. The inside temp just has to drop 1 more degree before it comes on. I'm in a sweatshirt right now to stay comfortable.

The good news is that I've gotten 2.25" of rain since Friday night. It's been a nice slow soaking rain so it hasn't just run off.

Even more expensive if on well water and the drought continues to worsen to the point of no water and new well needed.

Ran out of water once last summer fr the first time in 25 years. Luckily it came back overnight and I cut out almost all outside watering till the fall. Lost some garden stuff but I took the warning shot seriously.

Luckily, this is highly beneficial rain. Timing sucks but I dont care

Just curious, why not use the mini split for heat?

I removed the post as you must have been replying.

In a nut shell, we chose to lose what we had worked to grow as well as the costs involved over years of planting perennials, significantly reduced our water use as in only flushing if brown, among whatever else we could do without for other reductions.

Wells are expensive to replace and it would have been stupid not to.

Overall, I am extremely thankful for the rain we are getting, even if it comes at the cost of washing out the holiday weekend
