    Heading to a friend's for a cookout on the 4th. I haven't been told what we're bringing.

Just picked up 2 racks of beef short rips, 2 pork butts, 2 small whole chickens and 10 bacon wrapped jalapeños. Friend picked up 3 racks of pork ribs and who knows what else. Might as well just keep the smoker going all weekend! Going to be the best 4th of July ever!!

Quite well! And we got a small metric ton of the leftover pulled pork to bring home.

MarkG (another Eng. coworker) and I will be smoking a brisket for the 4th at his house- guests will arrive around the usual din-din time. Then farworks.

Oh for sure on the 4th, but starting early for kiddos sleepover :) There's a campground on the other side of the lake we live by, the fireworks show from campers down there is fun, we'll tootle on over there like most 4ths.
