Some stations in Tacoma are calling for temps of 100* this Sat and Sun. This has to be a misprint! I will have to sleep on a cot in the garage up against the Concrete half walls in the back.

We had 51 this morning, I opened the door to the screened in porch while having coffee and the wife gave me that look.....it stayed open.

When I came in from cutting today, I opened the door again and the wife gave me more than a look.....the door was shut. :salute:

At that temp even the concrete will be too warm! Presently it is 47. Yesterday morning it was 41. Come on over and get cooled off.

Supposed to get down to 50ºF tonight. 2nd night in a row had to go around and close all the windows. Probably didn't have to open them this morning. Habit.

Pulled the stove pipe off today...will be climbing the roof tomorrow or the next day, after getting a cleaning gadget to run through the chimney liner.
Have to pull the top off the f500, put a new gasket on, and repaint the top (since I'll be wire brushing the gasket channel anyway). Going to lift the stove by about 6", and then shorten the pipe by the same....and it'll be 50's and 60's next 2 days.
Might run the gas unit to take the chill off....yeesh.

    Oops.

Big change here with 62 for the low. Looks like the chilly air has moved out.

39 glorious degrees this morning! Low temps won't last much longer however getting temps like that at the tail end of June is awesome. Funny how 39 degrees a couple months ago would mean the wood stove was cranking however 39 degrees at the end of June means all the windows are open.

You might have windows open when 39 outdoors but mine will be closed! There always comes a point when it gets too cool in the house. 39 feels great outdoors and that is where I leave it.

We had 61.2 this morning with rain falling north of us. It looks like this coming week we'll be running the a/c, this will be the second week we ran the a/c this spring/summer, when we first moved here you could count on one week out of the spring/summer we would run the a/c.

Rained really hard here for a short period of time last evening. We got 2.2 inches of rain. Ten miles away where they take the official measurements they got 0.05 inches.:hair::hair:

Pulled the roof off the Jotul today, gonna remove the old seal, and brush the top, sunday, in the heat. Would like to get a coat of paint on that top too, but in 90 and humidity.....
