Good morning everyone! Low 80's by this afternoon. Pool temp 70°, it has some catching up to do.
I haven't gotten much done in the yard this week, been running around too much. Hope to buckle down today, before we got hot again, 95° forecast for Monday!
This picture is not the reality in my house, only a small fraction of "everything" gets done!

Morning All,
4 day weekend here means extra firewood progress. My 14yr old daughter helped with stacking yesterday and that sped things up. It set me up for another cutting, saw photo op day tomorrow. On Sunday I need to get the winter 21/22 racks filled and covered to take advantage of the 90 deg summer baking.
Can you believe the 4th is only 2 weeks away?

 

Morning All. Gorgeous looking day today. Perfect weather to garden at Mom's yesterday. High overcast with a bit of breeze.
Traveling today to get my second shot. Should be home this afternoon and get some gardening done here.

I've always felt that a worm wasn't much of a reward for getting up early. Just saying...

 

Happy Friday! 72* and rain at the moment. Going up to 90* today. VBS program for the families is tonight. Last night we have away lots of prizes including bikes. There were lots of happy kids! Tons of outside work on the docket for the weekend. Plus a baptizing on Sunday.

Morning and happy weekend. Why yes….it was 77 and humid at 3 am. My fishing partner’s new boat is being delivered today. Lund 1875 Pro-V with a 200 Mercury four stroke. We are gonna use my boat for a few days until we can get his ready. Then mine goes on the auction block. I never use it so no sense having it and paying lakeside dock rental. If something happens to him I’ll just order another one. We have discussed this in detail. He is 76 and we know all the realities. I told him yesterday he has to put in at least 10 more years!

Good morning everyone! Getting hotter today. Yesterday was a 3-dip in the pool day, today maybe more. This morning we are driving down to M2theB's house, about an hour away, to pick up an electric splitter that his dad doesn't use anymore. I'm very grateful for this, and am looking forward to playing around with it. I have some old rounds, not particularly big, that have dried considerably over the last year. I haven't been motivated to split them, but now I will.
