In the Atlanta area we are banned from burning from April till October...but I once had a fireman tell me if I was going to I should have some hot dogs handy!
Burn Baby Burn Cant burn my new brush yet ,just cut it green today. Got some dry stuff to throw in there to, wait a minute maybe I should have put the dry stuff on the bottom
The snapshot caught it when a flame was high. Gotta burn up that space wasting junk to make room for more stacks! I have a mountain of bark on the burn heap to dispose of this time around. EDIT - looks nice n dry .... or was there a bit of "accelerant" applied?
Maybe a little of both !!! LOL . Thats all straight up wood burning in this pick though . But I usually start a small fire first..with help from the gas/oil mix and bar and chain oil from all the saws I pick up and or work on !!! All mixed together..it works very well ! But I like diesel fuel better...its much safer
If I use gas, even with mix, I light a piece of paper and throw it at the pile. If you have a pile of leaves, 10 foot diameter and 6 foot high don't wait too long after you put the gas on to light it, cuz it will build up fumes
