Since the crew left early Monday, we drove about 30 minutes to Lowe's, picked up a sheet of cabinet plywood, a vent fan and duct kit, Edison sytle bulbs for the vanity light. Got home, cut hole in ceiling and end wall for vent fan, got it installed... The we did more of the walls and got the vanity light installed. She wants to old rustic and modern look, so I picked out this light...has the mason jar globes Since the crew was a no-show today, we decided to tackle the inset towel cabinet. Got the pieces laid out on the plywood, cut and built by 1:00PM. Only 1/16" out of square...not bad for a shade tree build with skill saw and portable table saw... My hunny got 2 coats of paint on it after I left for work. That's the 1st coat.. We will install it this morning...
We got the wall cabinet put up before the crew came Then the crew arrived with the shower pieces... Putting down the base and drain hooked up They got the back panel cut to fit and the shelf cutout done. Put the panel up, they put the bench top panel on and then the problem happened. As they were sliding the top in place, it was a little tight, we heard a POP... Seems the back panel wasn't as flat as it should be, so the back panel cracked as the bench top pushed against it. The head tech wasn't happy, he called the plant and told us they were making us a new one, he WOULDN'T put something like that in our house. So it continues...
Good afternoon all. Got the gutter installed on the barn this morning. I don't think it took an hour. Was about half the price of another quote we received. Nice out today. Low 70s. Clear blue skies. Have a great day all. Stay safe and stay healthy.
Sounds like the way most of our projects go... good luck with it moving forward. It's gonna look very nice. We have one of the bidet seats and like it... not quite as much as Ginger, butt...
They finished the shower install today and measured for the glass front. That should be here in about a week. Without the shower light With the light...
That really looks nice - although that bright light would be too much for my heart first thing in the morning
