Another trip to Lowe's......... not to bad this time a little over a Ben Franklin, of course we didn't get much either... My hunny liked the light we put in the shower, wanted the surface mounted light changed out... Either somebody had stock in the nail company or there wasn't a shortage in 1995. I pulled all this out of 1 7' stud... Going to rework the doorway, rewire boxes, change mirror... The mirror was stuck to the wall with double face tape, cut sheetrock around mirror, got it off and was cleaning back of mirror, then it decided to break...... We are going to install a vanity light, so that sheet will be replaced after light box and wire are put in... Going to put some insulation in the marriage wall too. Hot air is being pulled done from the attic...
T.Jeff Veal my wife puts up with me BUT sees too much on Pinterest and HGTV. Likes to paint works 2 miles from Lowe’s. Just bring it home sweetie I’ll get it installed
Nice looking kitchen cabinets and floor Jeff ..Looks like it would be nice working in there... Your bathroom project is really coming together great also..
I play hard to hear on some of the projects...... Glad it's 30 minutes to Lowe's or 45 minutes to HD from us...
That mirror was 24x30, we were gonna turn it sideways and use it. Probably going to be better to get a different size with the light and vanity, vessel sink and faucet that goes on there. It is easy to replace...
I was off yesterday, so got more done between rain showers... Finished taking out the old sheetrock where the mirror was, got outlet box for vanity light installed and wire pulled thru walls, mounted 2 new boxes on short wall and rewired GFCI recpt, light switch, and added a switch. Hung new sheetrock. Since the short walls are double thick, we had some R30 insulation left over, stuffed it in there and sealed it with 1/4" plywood. New wall covering will go over it. Then we finished framing the long wall. The opening will have a built in cabinet for towel and wash cloth storage...
Yes sir, it's an engineered floor. Has a thick face of hickory with a pine backing. I'll take a pic of it tonight.
