Good morning, folks.

It's supposed to hit 90 here today, and muggy. And again for the next several days. Not a big deal in other places m but it is here in the northeast. AC will be cranking.

My buddy offered to help me bring wood back to the house. So, we'll be doing that in a couple of hours. Trying to beat the high heat. I'll probably buy him breakfast afterwards.

Good morning everyone! It never did rain here. Back to dragging the hose around.
The pool temp right now is 66°. It will be interesting to see how much it gains in 90°+ sun.
I think they are getting ready to grind down the asphalt on my street. They put some plastic around the storm drains. It'll cramp my neighbor's style, they've got cars parked in the road all the time.
I think I'll split another cherry round before it gets hot.

We made it over to my cousin's place, glad we took the tractor and dump trailer. Power company had left a big dead pine on top of the oaks.
Did get several nice logs and a little PO vines to go with it
Our son is coming over to help me get a wire run through the ceiling, so I can install the recessed shower light...

Good Morning all! Suppose to be close to 90* here today good day to mow the lawn once it dries out some. Maybe jump in the pool later if the water warms up.

Another hot day today with temps in the upper 90's. Took a ride with friends to a winery we like and shared a bottle of wine with them. Bought a case of wine for ourselves. WeldrDave one of those bottles is for you and Chrissy

 

Good morning...er night.

Hit 97 today, so I put the window air conditioner in. I was hoping I wouldn't have to, as I'm in the middle of pulling the old modified gravity furnace and installing a new high effiency unit with central air.

Worked on it for several hours after work yesterday and 12 hours straight today. Old massive unit was a booger getting up the narrow steps.

Extra work needed as the previously owner messed up a bearing wall making an access area to the pilot and gas valve.

New studs, electrical and drywall but it will be worth it when it's done!

I poured the air conditioner pad and set the air conditioner in it earlier this week.

Time for a beverage and read my devotional book and the Lehmans catalog that just arrived.

Thinking I'll be asleep soon

Good eve everyone. Hope you all are enjoying the weekend. Been keeping busy in the home for the most part and thankful for what I have. Got to get out and do some mowing again. May work on it in the eves when it cools down after Barbara is in bed. Got some work on my truck to do in the shop during eves also. Dont mind doing it. I dont no if its just me but been seeing some more than normal tiffs on the forum lately. Kind of stinks coming from what I think are good people. I hope it will work it self out. You all have a good weekend. Be safe.

 

Maybe people are grumpy because they aren't burning wood.
