The other day someone commented on a comment I made (ignorance is bliss). And they were right, ignorance is dangerous!
Something tells me the chain would make white powder. Whenever we have storm damage, the local news stations go out and film people cutting trees and I always look at how there saw is cutting. It’s often someone with the saw pinned, dust flying and trying to force it through a 4-6” limb. In my neighborhood I’ll hear the death squeal of a dull homeowner chainsaw off in the distance and think poor saw.
Think I saw this guy in the ER once the RS brought him in with a laceration to the leg, He was weed wacking with a brush blade on a bank when the blade broke , He took a piece of blade just below the knee it settled to just above the ankle, He was dressed in shorts and flip flops.
Yes... at least he seems to be making an effort to work. I need to get me a pair of those super lightweight see through chaps. They look like they would be much cooler than mine. I have to be honest. A little over 20 years ago, I had chaps do what they are supposed to do for me. They are what kept my screen name from being Peg Leg Eckie, or worse. So I put a ton of stock in chaps, and I judge pictures based on my experiences. When someone tells me they've: run a saw for years/been doing this forever/were running a saw before I was born/never had an incident yada yada....I know what I'm dealing with. I'll get off my soapbox now and go back to my corner......
