Did this get shut down? I dont see a post a new review option. There are only 12 reviews. It says I have to sign up to post? Probably would be problematic if someone bashes a popular brand. There are just a few pro saws I didn’t like, or caused me too much agitation and I like everything I have now. Thanks for coming to my Tedtalk.
So, can anyone who has logged time on a particular saw, do a review on there ? Because it kind of looked like only certain people could do a review. At any rate, I wish there were more reviews on there.
I learned that reviews need approval as do responses. This was news to me but I'm still learning about being a moderator.
Look in the lower right where the "Log in" button is and then directly above that you will see, "forgot my password."
Thanks for the offer of help, but I think my desire to post a review has passed. I had never clicked on chainsaw reviews and noticed there were not many pro Stihl, or XP reviews.
I noticed the same bug in the forum software about 6 months ago and reported it to admin. There seemed to be no interest in fixing it. It's not just the chainsaw review section either. It's any pinned subform at the top of an area of the forums. If it's pinned at the top and dedicated to reviews, you're logged out when you click it and have to re-log in to post. However, you don't stay logged in even if you do. The next time you visit the reviews section, you're still logged out despite being logged into all other areas of FHC. I'm guessing this bug is the reason there aren't more threads in said sections...
