    Norky, welcome to the site! Every single one of us burned wood the "old way" at one point, we've all learned and taught each other the "right" way and let me tell you does it ever make heating with wood that much more enjoyable!

    Hmmmm, guess some of us pellet heads missed this thread

    I'm Gino and I'm a smoke a holic......... Just picked up a Husky 240 a few months ago. Not what you real men would use, but its all I need to cut them pellets :whistle:

    I may be 50 but I stll go to as many concerts as possible (around 10 this past summer-great summer for rock shows in my area !) and you can usually find me by the smoker on weekends :drool:

    That's Tommy Iommi of Black Sabbath in my avatar...Finally fot to see them this past summer and was close enough to see the strings on Tommi's guitar...sweet ! !

    Live 15 miles south of Boston MA. Love my St Croix Prescott pellet stove.
    Burning since 2005. Happy to see several familiar names on here.
    I'm an Admin on the busy xlforum but always find time to visit a few other
    forums of interest.

    Hey Xena, glad to see you make it over here. Hows the Harley been treating ya?

    Had a slow summer myself on 2 wheels...messed up my right wrist last spring that has just cleared up a few weeks ago. Was bad enough that I couldnt control throttle that well and definately did not want to ride 2 up (which is most of my riding) as I didnt trust my control enough. All is better now, of course just in time for the cold chite to hit us.

    No kids but the hair brained mutt keeps me company!!
    Trap, hunt, 4 wheel and wander the hillsides for fun.
    Highly interested in homesteading and may when I retire ,,, nearby or West Virginia.
