    I would go get it.. I am pretty close and could do it after work this weekend. I may be meeting up with Birddogtg on Sat, so it would probably be Sunday or one day during the week.

    Was just warned by a friend on Chainsaw Repair to 'better wear your ear muffs'! Nothing in the way of a muffler at all and no obvious provision for one, just a screen over the EP to keep the critters out!

    It's just a hole.. That's it. A small piece of aluminum casting to direct the exhaust out.

    Was told by a fellow collector that they were supplied with a screen that was trapped under the aluminum flange held on by the two bolts. Thinks he has a couple of NOS screens floating around. We'll see!

    The thing ought to be a hoot to run! At 16:1 and no muffler the smoke and noise should draw a good croud!

    Well Kinis worked a great deal! The saw is in his hands now. I told him since he traveled to get it, hold on to it a couple days until he could run it in some decent wood just to see how it went.

    Perhaps if we all bug him enough, he will post a video for all of us to also see.
