I think I'm about ready to start demo on bathroom #2. If it is anything like bathroom #1, and I'm sure it is, it will be a miserable job. The walls are lined with 1/2" plywood nailed about every 3" and damm near impossible to remove. If they are, I'm just going to cut in between each stud and take it out pieces.

Please contact the company who either makes or sells that cane. That is a really odd break. I would have thought it would bend before it just snapped off like that. Does it look like a failed joint? I am so glad you are not hurt. I can't seem to fall without some sort of mishap. Still have a bum arm/shoulder from my last fall.

Some of those "bariatric" rated canes are just too heavy to use. The weight presents an extra hazard by itself. That leaves just buying the canes from trusted brand names. That break shown looks to me to be a manufacturing mishap. I've had canes bend, but never had one just break off like his did.

He called his Corporate insurance agent for my bond, (very cool lady that knows him and the company well) and she cautioned it might not be legal for me since we are related. I searched the state statutes and found it's not legal for me to notarize docs where we will directly benefit (selling our home for example). So, no deals like that for us personally, but where is the line between me notarizing jobs for the Company that makes the company money vs. his salary pays our mortgage? State told me to call a Civil Attorney for his "interpretation" of the State's own statute. I have, Ahem, experience with Civil Attorneys, one atty's interpretation does not mean diddly squat compared to dirty atty. So, it's a no go. Crock of hooey!

4 letter word, starts with sh, ends with it.

Kiddo was hilarious learning to talk, she used the sound sh for both s and ch. For instance, she'd say she wants some sheese for cheese, I could barely hide it when she would she would tell our dogs to sit.

My daughter would call one of my friends who’s name is Leroy, leafboy. I still call him that at times just because. She gets embarrassed when I do in front of her.

Every year they seem to add 10 or 20 pounds on. Gotta start feeding them fat-free wood.

I am catching up on posts. I wound up with sixth cranial nerve palsy. It is similar to Bell's Palsy of the face, but this one affects the eye muscles. Right now I have to close one eye to read because of the double vision. They say it’s caused by a virus and I did have infected sinuses. This is the third time it’s happened. Could take six weeks to come back, as long as it does come back. My right eye kind of goes walleyed every now and again. One of the things that can happen to diabetics.
