Time to expand the arsenal, so I picked up a little top handle. Still planning to get a saw larger than my 455, which should give me a balanced 3 saw lineup. B048FF4C-A611-4F95-BCAE-1295FF6E8C8B.jpeg

Do you climb? I’ll need a lighter saw at one point for small branches and trees. But I don’t climb.

Recreationally more than anything. Helping friends and family, and tree trimming on my own property. I’d like to do more of it though, so expanding my knowledge and equipment as necessary.

You're gonna love a top handle. Great saw for limbing, cutting skinnies, working in tangles.
One word of advice: dont get too lax on "one handing" just ask T.Jeff Veal
Great looking saw and best of luck with it. Looking forward to seeing some pics of it in action!

Congrats! Those are nice little saws. My next top handle will be the Echo as well.

They get a fair amount of use when needed. I don't run more saw than I need usually. The lighter the better.

I like the 2511T for cutting limb wood on our jig.
    0329212002.jpg
This is similar to what I was doing when it bit me, except I was holding it with my hand around the limb... 0329212002a.jpg
Gloves didn't fair to well, either. Almost new pair. 10716.jpeg
Had a nice little saw kerf for awhile. I was blessed it hit the top of the chain... 10714.jpeg
It healed up nicely though. 0513210812.jpg

Ouch! But if you didn’t have the gloves on, it could have been a lot worse. Not to mention the picture of your cut finger, could have changed by about 1-2”
