Cooler weather has returned and for the most part I have been able to just use a sweater but today with the damp weather it just felt cold. It was 65/18 in my bathroom this morning. I decided to build a fire around noon and have keep it going until now (23:19 my time). No need to be cold when I have a wood fuel stove sitting in the lounge.

I’ve still been burning at night as well. Cheaper than electric heat.

I don't clean the stove until Memorial Day, and I find myself using it in late May often.

I didn't build a fire this evening and I wish I had. It is currently 70/21 in my little office and I am wearing a coat. I thought it was suppose to be warm in the Kangaroo State in the middle of May.

70 and wearing a coat....you're not getting sick are you?

This has been a weird spring already. These cool temps at night are nice, but I need it a bit warmer so the grass in the pastures will grow.

We have a fire most mornings. That should change in a few days with the forecast. I don't clean, put away, etc until at least mid June. Even then I check the 10 day forecast.
