Some guy posted pics of some ash rounds and i asked if he could hold it for me as I couldn’t go yesterday. He obliged. House in a wealthy neighborhood. Funny part is this stuff would have been perfect for the pizza oven and firepit in his backyard. I guess he likes to buy the pre-split stuff. there’s another smaller trunkload that I’ll get later this week.
Nice. Don’t think I’d cook with ash unless I was desperate. I’ve never heard of it being desired in that aspect, but it’s BTU’s for you!
Ash is finefor cooking. Doesn’t smell nice like oak or cherry, but it’s perfectly fine for cooking. My neighbor uses it in his pizza oven. I have used it grilling over the firepit.
