A shock to the system

    The body isn’t ready to work in this stuff yet. 87 and feels like 92...just this weekend the highs were in the low 60’s. Not much time to adjust to cutting and splitting wood in this weather. Drinking plenty of water

    That would do it . That kind of heat is hot to begin with. We had some 50s and low 60s and when it dropped to 30 or so for a day with the wind it felt real cold..

    It was 80ish & humid here yesterday, I really don't care for it at all. 40-60 with sun & I'm good.

    yuck! Not a fan of heat/humidity either. It's just a matter of time before we get that crap here. So for the time being all you guys keep that $hit by you. :D

    I cut all summer long so after a bit, my body adjusts. It just takes some getting used to and knowing when to stop and take a water break- which is more often than I’d like

    It was warmer here and i didnt like it. I have less patience in the "heat" and the blood is still thick. Have T.Jeff Veal come up for a few days. He doesnt mind the heat! Mebbe he can bring a splitter? :whistle:
