Every Sunday we try to have the kids over with their girlfriends and any other family member that is available. I think I’ve smoked something for every lunch except the occasional pizza pick up. Today is a great day for the smokers, high in the upper 60s and sunny. We are having hotdogs with sloppy joe toppings and I’m smoking salmon for myself and two others that prefer fish over hotdogs.

Ok this one is cheating a bit because using the grill is unnecessary but I like to keep the fryer oil stink out of the house. Homemade chicken fingers fried in a skillet. This is about the only thing I care to use chicken breasts for lately! Other than that I'm about sick of chicken breasts. Just cut them up into whatever size strips, flour/egg/breading. Easy stuff!

Hoping to get to labuda’s market tomorrow. It may offset having to go to Springfield, I hate that place.

Me either until I joined this Weber Kettle grill page on facebook which was a curse because those guys are always showing off these cool aftermarket accessories I never knew existed. There's a few different pans for this grill though I got the Hunsaker brand which is about $50 on Amazon. They are a small smoker company but they make some other accessories too.

This morning I put chuck roast and chicken thighs on the smoker. I’ll pull the thighs in a couple hours and the chucks will stay for 5-6 hours then in the crock pot in beef broth to finish it off.

woody5506, I remember you posting that weber kettle griddle plate a ways back, but don't remember any of the conversation. Have you done smash burgers before? I reckon that thing will get as hot as you want by how you feed it.... I would like to have a griddle, but dont really have room for another cooking instrument sitting around....but I already have a weber performer.....

Yep, easier to store/hang this up than the 36 inch Blackstone I was eyeballing...

Smash burgers were the first thing I made with it. And yup all you gotta do is hang this thing up in the garage.
