Brilliant. I think a 4 for 20 would be the best bargain.

    Eggxactly!!

It's like the cambells tomato soup 10-for-$10 at the grocery store. Nobody needs 10 cans in the pantry. Thats just a way for the store to boost their average sales.

Hell, at Weis market they put a 10for10 on an end cap like a sale item but you go down the soup isle and there's a 4pack for $3.16 (or...79cents each):picard:

    UPDATE!

She's sold 24 bundles as of 7/15/2021. We switched to .65 cuft bags a while back. We put usually 6 nice size pieces in the bag. The rope was nice, but didn't allow her to help as much. We also added a kindling bundle to the bag. 4 full sheets of newspaper and 10 small pieces of kindling made from 2x4s and such out of the dumpsters at work. Spent an hour or two with the miter and table saw to get them somewhat uniform.

Y'all were right about quantity selling usually at least 2 bundles at a time. Not always but more so than not. We did put up a neon green with black letters sign a couple hundred yards away to help draw some attention.

Glad the wood's starting to move! We're selling about 100 a week here in tourist hell. I've got a pizza place around the corner that's doing 50-60 bags per weekend. Got my grandson & two of his buddies splitting & bagging the wood. At $ 8.00 per wholesale that's about $ 600.00 per cord, so not bad. Keeps me busy after work though lol. The kids are liking making their own spending money & learning a little about business. I hope your venture continues to grow & thrive.

Another update, sold 41 bundles as of 8/13. Had 7 stolen. 6 at one time and one a few days later. We had a camera pointed that direction but it never did activate. Moved it into the stand now, no avoiding it this time. Pretty aggravating having it stolen. Not even the financial loss bothers me as much as the labor loss. I hope whoever stole em burned off their eyebrows.
Hard to explain to a six year old why someone would steal something like that. I could have little empathy if it was winter and they relied on it for heat. But even then, I could make a trade for labor at least. Probably won't be the last theft, but at least now we may get to see who they are. Figured they may steal the camera too.

That’s too bad. People can be crappy. In my little town there is a “puzzle swap” basket. It’s a milk crate nailed to a huge pine tree, at the head of a hiking trail. It’s probably been there as long as I’ve been alive. The seniors in the area put puzzles in it - and they take puzzles when they leave one. It’s like one of those take a penny, leave a penny things at the gas station. Yesterday, someone stole all the puzzles... and the basket.

I had my fingers crossed that it wouldn't happen, but........

    IMO, it was inevitable.

Well, the young ones will learn from the thieves, also.

Congratulate them on the good and successful work once again! :handshake:
