Ok guys. I’m feeling so guilty.
I had a logger drop off a load of hardwood rather than scrounging.
    In my yard even.
    No cutting, limbing, loading.

Do I need to scrape my FHC sticker off my tractor?
    I feel so ashamed.

All the wood I have been burning for years has been delivered in log lengths. I do not feel any less manly.

The group is Firewood Hoarders. Doesn't say how you're acquiring the hoard. So in my opinion you're good

You should be ashamed! Rather then scraping the sticker off your tractor you should just drop it off at my house... May as well bring the logs too  :rofl:

Nice looking load of logs!
What all you got in it?

I think in a lot of ways that's the way to go. Huge load of logs delivered without all the wear and tear on your own vehicle. Go on a CSS bender, knock it all out then stand back and admire your handiwork. Spend the rest of the year doing all the things you could be doing if you weren't scrounging all the time. Sounds good to me....

    Nothing wrong with log loads.
Whatever works for you and your situation.:salute:

You're still cutting, splitting, stacking, and hoarding, right?:handshake:

I wish I could get a drop like that. Work smarter, not harder.

When most of our firewood was cherry, I ordered a load of beech from a guy near us, it was money well spent....keep your sticker.

It's all good. Any way to get ahead with firewood is the way to do it.

    Nice.

Because of that nice tractor and grapple, you will be allowed to keep the sticker.

    I'd say you are good.

No wear and tear on vehicle , one less step since you didn't scrounge and time saved is priceless.

    Smart move !

    No guil
No guilt. if you dont have the time to scrounge and can afford to buy why not. If i had the room id make connections with tree guys to have wood dropped off in log length as well as scrounge wood myself. I would never pay for wood though, buts thats just me being CHEAP.

Looks like some nice logs there Lennyzx11 Post some pics as you process it.
