Does it have the plastic clutch cover? IIRC the chip deflectors are different between the plastic and metal covers. There were two different base gaskets used in the 262 a thin one and a way fat one. I have both here. As far as the chain catcher goes, I routinely retap those to M6, not a big problem but you may need a 'reduced head height' M6 so as not to interfere with the chain.

As for the chain catcher.. I always find the threads all wore out. For some reason i couldnt find my tap... So for my recent Husky 261 i drilled it out... Went into my huge array of saved bolts, screws and such... Found a thin head small lil bolt.. And a thin nut to put on the backside. Worked pretty slick !!

It's the plastic clutch cover, which has a slot behind the clutch that looks like it could accept the dust flap.

I'll have to tap the chain catcher on this one. There's not enough clearance between the case and the handle for me to be comfortable putting a nut back there.

I think some version of Poulan also used that same deflector but Cut4Fun can verify that.

Do your E replacement part orders take weeks to get to you? I ordered a non cat muffler for a quake saw and it said it would be like 2 weeks to get it. I wasnt in a hurry and did not care bit it did take weeks. I joke and said all they do is when you order a part they order it from the manufacture in china then once they get it they ship too you.

Deflector ordered. Thanks for the tip, C4F.

For items they have in stock, ereplacementparts is generally pretty good. Special orders can take a while.
