Picked up a sign this morning

    About 4 months ago a chain saw advertising sign appeared on the local CL. Looked to be in decent shape but was priced too high. I offered what I felt was a fair price and repeated my offer 6 weeks later when it was relisted. Yesterday I got an e-mail out of the blue from the seller asking if my offer still stood.

    Met him this morning at Cracker Barrel and came home with this.

    I think I will replace the wooden frame in the back before hanging it in my garage.

    What are they costing local in your area Gary? The one in my pic was bought local about 5 years ago for my barn sign collection.

    But I aint married to any sign just like chainsaws if someone likes them worse then me. :smoke::cool:

    $200-$275 is what is I seen being asked for the couple of these I have seen come up locally, there has been one on the Cincy CL that was in worse shape but I can't remember the price. There was a plastic 4' x 6' Stihl listed several weeks ago for $200. There is one now on the Dayton CL with a dealer name for $225, sign prices have jumped considerably in the past several years.

    Nope, just the Stihl and a Poulan one.

    Like I mentioned, there is a nice looking one on the Dayton CL.

    Nice looking sign Gary. I was lucky enough to pick up a Partner sign with what looks like a 5000 on it, a couple of months ago off of AS. Goes good with the Poulan I got from ya.
