    Mom was overprotective and dad not a good teacher. Folks were divorced when i was five.

    I always wear safety glasses and make my kids when they pull the lever. I’ve had crap dug out of my eyes in the past so maybe I’m being overly cautious. Cheap insurance the way I figure it. :thumbs:

    Ugh...only wish I could with some! There are a lot of really great parents out there but it's the lazy ones who raise the kids we hear too much about.

    Thanks for all of the kind words guys and gals. I tell my wife at least once a week we got lucky with him. He's self motivated and independent. Wants to learn how to do everything on his own. We may encourage and guide where needed but he's just a go getter.

    Finished off the pine today between school and his baseball game. About another cord and a half. About half of it was from this dead pine I dropped last Thursday after dinner. It was right next to his pine pile so that helped speed things along. 18” at the base and still 14” diameter at the 50’ mark. Biggest pine on my property. Now he has a lot of stacking to do!
