I took a day off from processing my wood to sell to give my 9yo some help with what he sells. Usually I have my small splitter around a lot more so he can split his wood but the logs we’ve scrounged for him weren’t that small so I let them build up and brought the big splitter home. Also had about 1.25 cords of pine at a neighbors house. I was able to back the dump truck right up to the splitter and the neighbor had the logs staged perfectly. This pine was the Goldilocks of wood when it came to splitting. Perfect size for the 6 way and mostly knot free. We got the pine split up in just under an hour. The oak and mulberry pile is about 1.5 cords and that took a little longer as many pieces were bigger and there was no shortage of knots. We have about 2 cords left to knock out tomorrow

Great work fellas! Seeing the pic of your son reminded me of the joke I have with my father in law that our tw5 height is designed for child labor. Your pic says enough......I rest my case:rofl:  Awesome looking bundle wood:yes:

You have to be very proud! That boy looks so happy there at work. I find that most boys really want to help and that is very good. Those type usually turn out to be fine men.
