Didn’t plan on buying a saw today, but sometimes a deal finds you.

I almost bought a 272 at a pawnshop in Billings Montana. It was a little on the rough side and didn’t appear the chain brake would work. Wasn’t a super deal anyway unless I could have talked them down. Ended up buying a 357 the next day at another pawnshop.

Not to sure about that. It is giving me fits with the carburetor. I have an aftermarket one that I need to get put on and see how it acts.

I’m not looking for much to fill up the family portrait, but that is one for sure.

How much was the 268? Just out of curiosity
They go for 250-350.00 around here
    I can buy a 288 and a 272 but I don't need them.

Cleaning wipes and compressed air should polish this one up nicely. Could use a new muffler too, but it’s a runner.

Didn’t ask, but he has 6-8 268’s. Two like new 272’s were nfs. He has a few 288’s. I got my 272 from someone else, because he wanted 450 for a pieced together 272.
He has a 576 xtorq in good shape for sale. Is that a saw worth having?

Well, for someone who claims to not be very well versed on Husqvarnas, you sure have scored some sweet ones recently.
Don’t know what kind of deals you are getting (probably best that way), but I’m gonna give give you a “you suck” award based on quantity, quality and desirability of your recent saw scores!!

I have learned that if it’s a not for sale Husqvarna, it’s probably something worth getting. He has like new nfs 272, 371, 288, 394
There are a lot more, but those are the ones I’ve asked about.

I run the 266s more than anything I prefer the dual coil saws
But the top covers are getting scarce.
over the years I've found nos
    268 272 288 lite and a 288xp
But I've never found a nos 266 se or xp

My buddy says the 266 is a screamer. The saw man has a bunch of them including some clean ones. I’ll put it on my next one list
