We don’t get a lot of dry days like this one, especially this time of year but this is great for drying firewood. Today is the second in a row like this. Red maple and ash rounds cut on Friday.

Yup. We're under a "Red Flag Warning". Dry, windy, no precipitation, crispy forest floor. Recipe for brush fires.

Feels like my hickory splits have lost 1/2 their weight and poplar and ash splits feel like a 2 pack of paper towels

Idiot neighbor burning yesterday under warning. Had second thoughts today after visit from officials yesterday. Some people either don’t know or don’t care...

There were several fires in my area yesterday and today. Some people just don't think or give a rat's behind.

Love it, i uncovered a pile of maple, birch and walnut that was in a pile and topped with a tarp back in November. I could not believe how dry this stuff got in such a short time. The walnut was beautiful

Good drying weather for sure. The dead elm that I CSS last weekend is already checked on the ends. D39EA9F8-8713-413D-AFA2-BB77B4AA0FBD.jpeg
