I drive by the mill and he woodlands business at least once a month. Sounds like this was a shop that burnt. Equipment can be replaced, lives can’t.

It is always tragic to loose someone to a fire. To me, even more so when it is kids. And yes, driving past the place is a haunting experience. So very sad.

Got through my taxes late last night. Not a lot coming back which is fine with me. Rather not loan my money to the government interset free all year. :)

Church this morning, a few chores and Easter cards sent out, then threw on another fire on this cold and rainy day. Haven't needed one lately as its been very mild for the past week or so.

Pretty busy day today. I listed an antique cupboard and wanted it picked up today. I had 17 responses and even very good offers sight unseen. It worked out in the end after a few people wanted it delivered or pick it up later in the week. No thanks.

I did service on the lawn tractor. I bought the maintenance kit from the JD dealer. Oil, air and oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs. All done in an hour. I hooked up the de-thatcher and cleaned up the side yard from hemlock twigs. Took a cart load of spruce to the process pile. It was sunny and 45, but the wind picked up and sent snow squalls through. I gave my buddy an old snowblower as he just bought a house. More room in the barn now. I have to get a hitch for the tractor to move the splitter around.

I received a card last time, paid auto policy with it. WWW never got one. We file joint married. Not sure if dependents were supposed to get one last time, but none for her either if they were. This time both of ours says "status unavailable", want to bet same thing will happen this time?

What a great idea Larry! Between loading the pellets and the dust from cleaning (your breathing issues) that sounds like a great solution!

Sounds like you'll need to do some extra steps on the taxes to get any of the past payment ( s) that were never received.

E-filing is the way to go for these reasons.

Nice Jon. Mowing is still a few months away for me. Still a foot of frozen ice snow out there.

I'd love to, either our Corp Tax Accountant does not do that or they are not available for the taxes we file. Either way, from what I read it seems we take a tax credit next filing for the non payed stimulus. I did our taxes from 1990-2011, it's been out of my hands (and expertice) since then. Our accountant and assistant drive me crazy, they do not return calls in a timely manner or if at all. We'll be shopping as soon as the court case is over, if it ever ends.

Grandparents. Right now I live there part time and stay with mom part time as well. But when covid numbers have been high, I've camped out in my house (non liveable) instead for my grandparents safety

This guy stole multiple buckets of salt meat and a couple sets of bed sheets from one of our other locations and left out the emergency exit :BrianK:
