I only managed to clean out under one of the rabbit hutches. There were at least twenty. Lots of cats wandering around too.

Morning, it’s early. Gotta go get coffee. Think I’ll just enjoy the weather today and go to lunch with friends.

    Good windy morning, folks.

Temps in low-30's, and very gusty winds.

I was hoping to continue with yard cleanup, but I'm not I'm not sure how futile it'll be.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning. My buddy texted me and said he is still fishing on 16" of ice on the Mississippi backwaters. So I am driving down to Wabasha MN this morning to fish some perch, bluegill, bass and pike down there. Heading back home tomorrow.

It should be a nice day on the ice Mike. They are saying mid 50s for the high with sun and light winds!

Sounds like a good day to make soup and stay inside...
Be careful if you do go out, don't need widowmakers coming down on you.

It will melt first along the north side shorelines. We use a fallen tree or plank to get on and off the ice sheet.

In the mid fifties with sun, it will get soft quickly on top. Once the ice sheet turns from white to dark grey, the water made from ice melting has been permeating the entire ice sheet from top to bottom, and it is over pretty quickly after that point for walking out and fishing.

Good morning everyone! Like Mike said, VERY windy last night, and still blustery this morning. I'd like to do stuff outside today, we'll see.
We got a notice from the city telling us that the people in the house behind us want a zoning variance to knock down the existing house, and subdivide into two lots. Zoning says 75' of road frontage per lot, and they are short, 60' per lot. There's a Zoom meeting on the 23rd. We are opposed to the plan. But even if they only build one house, it will be plenty disruptive this summer. Poor cat will be scared out of her wits.

Morning All. Windy this morning with sprinkles of rain. Heavy rain and then a snow warning for later today. We will see what we get. Got our walk in this morning and seeing it is well above freezing, I think the snow thing is far fetched. I expect it will be rain for us.

"Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:30 Children stories for a month is about the sanctuary and its relevance for us today.

    Happy Sabbath everyone.
