I like foo, but they are really a one track band. Their new stuff, that was just released, is like it could have been released 20 yrs ago. Nirvana was at least ground breaking, in addition to being multi faceted.

Just turned 46 this week. My older brother was attending Northwestern at the time and invited me down to chicago for it. I like a lot of hard rock, just not speed/ death metal. There's still times I'll break out Pantera's "far beyond driven".

I don't like pearl jam. Their Ten album is/ was great, but that was because eddie vedder didn't write anything on that album. He was literally a hired voice for that album. Then vedder started writing after Ten, and go figure, the songs suck. There's no coincidence.

The survey doesn’t have a Dolmar, but it does have a Husqvarna. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a 9010 stuffed away somewhere. I know he has the turbo saw.

There was a live music bar in my town where I saw bands before and after huge happens. It’s hard to remember every band I’ve seen, but I do remember my first rock show. Went to see Ratt in Fayetteville. I think it was 84. Bon Jovi was the opening act and they weren’t half bad at the time. Prior to that I had stood outside a Beach Boys concert and a Willie concert. All good memories
I’m going to call some Stihl dealerships and see if any have information on the 400 just out of curiosity.

Well I got the down low on the 400 and it doesn’t look like it will be available until late this year or next. He said he can’t get any Stihls right now.
That eliminates 500 and 400 from the list.

I did not know that. Ten is the only album I like as well. I guess that explains why! LOL Cowboy's from Hell in my favorite Pantera album.

I voted my recent purchase, I bought a 500i and sent it to Huskihl to port it, it’s sitting in the garage about to get a Sugi 24” and some square grind, tractor is plugged in and we’re waiting for the temp to come off -7 and go into the positive.

Can’t tell you how envious I am of this. The legendary 1991 show? Also agreed on 500i in attempting not to hijack Chud’s thread

I can’t imagine how great that had to have been to go twice! Just out of curiosity, how come you skipped the 462 in your list of saws? Only reason I ask, I’m considering one and am wondering if there’s something I should know about it.

Ten was released when I spent a summer as a foreign exchange student to germany. It was a huge deal and my friends played the hell out of it that while summer. If cd's could be worn out like tapes....

My favorite pantera album is " vulgar display of power" . That cd would be worn out of it could've been just from playing.

Saw both nirvana and pantera at the JAR in Akron. Early 90's from what I can recall.

Huskihl knows how to make them run, it’s a beast! Throttle response is right now, it’s really a wonderful saw.

If you’re asking me about the 462, I already have one and it’s a great saw that everyone should own. The only thing I would change is the bar from 24 to 20.
