    Never heard of the brand and it doesn't have a brake so it must be old. Thought maybe someone here keeps vintage saws.

    They were decent saws when Pioneer was bought out they were called pioneer/partner then it was just partner made in sweden they were eventually sucked up by electrolux who also owned husky and jonsered JB

    Good saws, they had a good following up here. That one has a brake flag, so it should have a brake. Mike Acers site says 1979.

    Ate 80s around here the dealer was doing a 2 for 1 deal on partner 5000 plus saws. They were a good saw but had previously had issues with the model. I still have an old parts saw that was my wife’s dads, he ran those for many years until they went out. He still ran a couple in 2000.
