I buy my small engine gas at a regular gas station and I I always put some Enzyme brand fuel treatment in it. If I start using non-ethanol fuel would I still need the Enzyme?

I'm fortunate to be able to get ethanol-free gas. I always add a stabilizer.

I buy non-E gas for all of my small engines and Stabil goes into all of it.

Now I just need to figure out an easy way to mix 40:1. My local non-ethanol gas is sold in liters. Have been mixing 50:1 in the past.. anyone have any quick methods? . I suppose next time I fill up I could do some math!:hair:

I use a bottle of oil that is to be mixed with 2.5 gallons but I only use 2 gallons of gas. That may come out pretty close to 40:1

Mix one 77mL oil with 3.08L of gas? That sound right? Actually pretty easy with metric.

Nope. I've seen zero issues with e10, over 20 years now. I have tried stabil as well as other fuel treatments and none did anything different.

You need a ratio rite. Makes it easy

I use only non ethanol fuel and never use any stabilizer of any kind. I do not have any problems starting up lawn mowers or weed eaters or chainsaws after sitting a long time.

I fill a 6 gallon can from the e free pump. My oil jugs all have a site window on the side. I dump 4oz of oil (using the window) into a gallon windshield washer jug (32:1) and fill the gallon jug with gas from the 6 gallon can. And then dump that into my 2 gallon saw can.

40:1 would be 3.2oz per gallon.

I do it this way because I also fill the tractor and other small engines from the big can. So the big can is always straight gas and little cans are always mixed.

I use non E fuel and amsoil Saber oil. Use a ratio rite to mix and that's it. Most quality oils have a stabilizer already in it so it makes adding another stabilizer redundant. Also amsoil recommends 100:1 ratio with the Saber oil for everything. I go a little heavier with 80:1 and so far it's been working great.

Its just mixed gas don't over think it. Alaska doesn't sell Ethanol laced fuel. I also use Saber and don't care what AMS Oil says, and mix to 32:1 and mix by the 5 gallon can-no issues ever.

Are there gallon(s) markers on your gas container? No need for metric math.

Yep I am with you. I have used AMS Oil at 32 to 1. Never had an issue.

I run e-free with triple dose marine stabil in my boat. Pull straight gas from it into a 5 gallon can for the mower, splitter, side by side, etc. Then use that gas to mix 1 gallon of premix at a time, 32:1 Red Armor per huskihl . Keeps everything as fresh as I can manage. Need to run the boat and ope more!
