    As we were hauling the load of pecan home Friday, we passed by a house and 1 of the local tree service companies was taking down a tall water oak. We stopped and chatted a bit, the owner was gone, but the crew said someone was getting the small stuff, but they were going to throw the big stuff away...:faint:....:hair:...:picard:...
    We stopped again on the way home with the tractor, owner was there, then. He said Mark a spot where he could dump a load Monday.
    Well, he did come by...:banana::banana:

    Time to get :saw::axe::stacker:
    He is supposed to bring me some more pecan and cherry he is going to cut in Deepstep, just up the road from me...:handshake:

    Good deal! Wish I had the room for something like this. I’d jump on the wagon too.

    That's a good wagon to jump on. I do believe you'll have more deliveries whenever that tree service is in your area. :yes:

    He is local, just cuts all over the place...lol...
    He hauls tons to a guy with a woodmizer mill. Way more than he can cut.
    Only bad thing, he doesn't have a chipper. So lots of small limbs to deal with on other loads.

    Now you're onto something! Nothing like having it dropped off.

    I don't know, those loads I've seen with all the trash in it, doesn't look like fun.

    It may not be fun but is sure is quicker and easier on the body than having to go and load it up from some place and haul it home.

    Good excuse for more big saws. Love hacking up big logs with big saws. Nice score!

    For that kind of wood I'd take the trash too. I have access to a chipper and I also enjoy the occasional brush pile bonfire a couple times a year too.

    Nice score Jeff! The trashy stuff just lay it out & limb it, then skin right along the log with the bucket of the tractor & push it outta the way. Makes that a much easier job.

    Yes sir. I've talked with him several times before. He only had to haul it 12 miles.
