Lot of good ideas here. Here's my setup that works great for bb/pellet and .22...Just some cans with parachute chord running between a couple trees. It's nice not having to re-set the cans when you hit them and sometimes, if you hit 'em just right, they even spin. :)

It's about a 40-45 ft shot off my porch...a fun distance with my cheap bb gun.

You can sort of see 'em about 5 ft off the ground in this pic from my porch. As soon as the beer cans get too chewed up, well, I go ahead and make some more.;)

correction on the distance. I just measured it and from where I shoot, it's about 55 ft. I've been doing better than I thought.

Forgot to mention that another fun target is old CDs. Hang 'em up on branches or whatever and they give you an easy to see target.

That show was pretty good. Wonder why they stopped making it after just a year or two?

Think they had like 4 seasons but I dont think it caught on after the first seasons. Thethird season they dumped on the air pretty quick. They pumped the first 3 out fast and the 4 the season almost didnt air...bit ffinally did.

Nice! I think the audible ping of a hit and visual spinning makes it much more fun than just aerating paper. Get a can of safety orange rattle can paint cuz those stickers don't last long!

I love my 22 spinner target. Really fun to hear and see it. I dont paint mine but with a 22 one splat takes out the whole sticker just about.
