Silver or grey really is one of the best colors for this. The best would be lighter tan or brown colors (but rarely the best looking) . White isn't bad in many conditions, aside from dirt/ mud, but black is the toughest to keep clean.

Was that a locally owned truck?

Ford makes kind of a tan/golden truck that does a pretty good job of not showing the dirt. White Gold is what they used to call it. Not sure if they still have it, or if they do, what they call it.

They used to make a black with glass chips in it. That was better than flat black for keeping it clean looking.

Nice! Everybody’s got a system that works! I back the boat in , wife drives the boat off and picks me up after I park the trailer. She’s a pretty good boat driver, but she’s not as good as she thinks she is!’

My BIL just got issued a new 2020 F150 service truck. It seems pretty nice. He says the transmission takes a little getting used to, but overall likes it.

I am the 3rd owner and the last guy had it 5 years and was from the city, it has 76.000 miles on it and just normal surface rust on frame.
i have only goosed it a couple times on highway and it sure does scoot.

Did he say why “the transmission takes a little to get used to?”

I just handed down my 2015 F150 to my daughter. It has the 2.7 ecoboost and 198000 miles on it. The aluminum body held up great. Zero complaints. It looks almost as good as the day I bought it.

I would like to know as well.

I've driven several of the 10 spd f150's. Back in 2017 when the 3.5 ecoboost had it as standard, then several of the 2018's in 2.7 and 3.5 EB, as well as the 5.0 engines. They all acted like you'd expect a transmission with 10 speeds to act;)

They shift more to be more efficient, which makes perfect sense to me. I guess if you went from a 4spd auto to the 10 speed it would be a pretty drastic change.

I wouldn't think it would be very noticeable at all...much more seamless than a 4 speed...now going from a 10 speed to a 4 would have to be annoying!

Revving out in 4th gear. None left to shift up into on the freeway. Modern overdrives sure make it nice, especially if you have stump puller axle gearing.

My Audi had like 4:10 gearing, and Audi thought that the high low transfer case wasnt needed in the north american market. So instead they put those crazy gears in the diffs and even with 5 speeds, 75 mph was 3000 rpm and associated low teen mpg on freeways.

He said it was a little choppy under light acceleration. My guess is it is still learning shift points. Truck had 2 miles on it when he got it.
