    Thank you all for the prayers. Jaxson lost his battle with cancer this afternoon. He's not suffering here on earth anymore and I'm sure he's playing baseball on the fields in heaven.

    Please continue to pray for his family as they go through this tough time.

    Thank you all for your prayers. My sister in-law is still holding in there. Has been sitting up some. Poor dear has no outward sign she is aware of anything. Her husband has been allowed to visit now that she is on hospice. She held his hand, then asked him who he was. This covid thing has made it so he couldn't get close to her for a year. I know they think they are doing the right thing for all concerned, but having seen what I have, I have grave concerns that those concerns has been overstated. There are some things worse than death.

    Indeed I think they are wrong by not letting loved ones close. This is what kept me from putting my wife in one hospital; they would allow nobody in to see a patient. Another hospital had those restrictions but allowed me to be with my wife as much as I could. They could see right off that she needed me. That was appreciated.

    Glad he was finally allowed in to see her.
    I know what you mean on that last statement. I talked to my mom a few weeks ago for 15 minutes on the phone, 10 minutes in, she asked who I was. Said she didn't catch my voice, didn't sound like me. I just had to play it off. She is in a care facility now too. We can only go outside her window and talk on the phone to her.

    Please keep the family of Steve Nelson in your thoughts and prayers. He passed away about 6:30 this evening from kidney cancer. Found out last March he had it. We have known him over 30 yrs. Je was our friend that did the stone work on our hearth.
