Just some of my thoughts already embedded in my head.
Husqvarna 562xp after reading all threads ( you would be scared to even look at one)
Echo professional 620 ( which after reading most threads you will never get a warranty cause they always scam there way out of it)
Which leaves stihl . Which I have only ran old old models which when I hold they just feel ackward

I have been Husky saw guy my whole life.,.
I want another new saw what to buy???

I basically just cut wood for firewood

I have not run a new Stihl if they feel like the old ones I will be disappointed. And am I looking at MS362. Also are they any good or does all new emission saws just blow.

I’d wait for the ms400c. It’s 66cc and will be the newest model with magnesium piston and light like the other new models.

Not sure of new models, but I have a Husky 359 that I love...powers through anything I throw at it.

After watching the youtube ( rod jones) ,562 vs 362 comparison video seems like the Stihl 362 stihl has its issues..
WTF is this world coming to . The technology available today we should have non issue saw.
Or should I just buy the junk available today cause it seems like everyone just talks about the previous model years.

A buddy bought one after I did the research. I used it a little and it was a very nice saw, even with the safety chain on it and not even fully broken in. It's a nice savings over the ms362 as well.

Still got it....price is right. Between 5-10 tanks of usage.

The 362 is not bad. I like mine pretty good. I often find myself reaching for it first. A 461 or 462 definitely has more power but is heavier of course. The 20" bar might be the better bar for the 362, but I like a 24" Lightweight bar, and skip tooth chain. Of course I have not had enough experience with a lot of other saws to compare.

I bought my echo pretty much for the warranty. 12 years later I haven’t done anything to it other than fuel it and pull the cord.

I'd be seriously considering an Echo.

Don’t know much about this but I heard the 562 got a recent update to deal with past issues. Maybe it would be worth another look?

I agree on keeping the 562XP in the mix. I had the pre-2020 update version that had the latest software installed. It was FLAWLESS over the few years I had it where it cut about 35 cords. If I didn't long for the 500i I just bought, I would have kept that thing for a very long time. But the weight was very close to the 500 so no need for two saws when 2 bars could do the same. I'm not sure if the 2020+ units are even better but even if it was a lateral move, I'd jump on another if I was shopping in that cc range.

Look hard at your local dealerships . Picking the right one will be more important than the saws that have been mentioned . If they all seem about the same , You won’t go far wrong with an Echo saw . They’re pretty tough ,and the prices are hard to beat . I service 4 of the 590 models for folks around here . They’re solid saws . But me being me, I’d likely go for the 620 . It has a few nice upgrades ,and a bit more power .
The 562 Xp is also a decent saw . I have two now . My first is a 2011 model ,5 screw case,EL44 carb model that I bought new . It’s never let me down . The second is one I was given . 2018 XPG . It was used commercially . It hung a ring . Things happen sometimes ... So, I rebuilt it ,and use it often .
Can’t offer an honest opinion on the MS 362 no experience with that model .
